Couldn’t pass it up

Working on other images tonight I came across these favorites I had marked some time ago.  They aren’t the best…and yet I love them.  I’m a sucker for little girls and pretty fields…and even though this little girl didn’t have any cooperation in her for photos this night…I still love the outcome.

Taken at a cabin we visited with my family in September.

I love this next totally imperfect image because it reminds me a bit of how the session went and reminds me how fun and difficult 2 year olds are to photograph…and it makes me happy that she is healthy and can run, even if it’s away from me and my camera.

And my favorite…

I love that stark difference in their clothing…boys rough, dirty and relaxed, girls beautiful, prim and proper.  I love that she loves her daddy. I love how she wanted to hold his hand and how she takes turns favoring him and I. I love how he was out there, without complaint, helping and supporting another photoshoot idea even though it’s kind of stressful and not what he’d like to be doing on his camping weekend.

I was just looking at your blog with Aidan. I asked him who this girl was and he wasn’t sure so I told him it was Emery and he said, “Is it MY Emery?” He is loving looking at all the pictures of his sisters too. He also got excited when he saw “Rueven”.
