Equipment For Sale

I am clearing out some photography equipment I don’t use and selling the following Canon L lenses. If you are using a camera such as a Rebel, 5d or many other cameras without a full frame sensor, these lenses are perfect to provide you with a great wide angle capabilities. And the L series is Canon’s best glass and produces incredible clarity in your images.

Canon 35mm 1.4L lens, $1200.00. Beautiful prime lens, gives great bokeh…here is the info from Canon on this lens:

“L-series professional f/1.4 wide-angle lens with an Aspherical lens element to correct aberrations. The floating system enables high picture quality to be obtained over the entire focusing range. Autofocusing is quick and quiet with rear focusing and ring USM. Full-time manual focusing is also possible.”

Canon 17-40L lens, $550. Information from Canon on this lens:

” Superior optics are assured by the use of three Aspherical lens elements, in addition to a Super UD (Ultra-low Dispersion) glass element. Optical coatings are optimized for use with digital cameras. This lens focuses as close as 11 inches (0.28m), and offers both Canon’s full-time manual focus and a powerful ring-type USM for fast and silent AF. It has a constant f/4 maximum aperture, and offers the choice of screw-in 77mm filters or a holder in the rear of the lens for up to three gel filters. Finally, it offers weather-resistant construction similar to other high-end L-series lenses.”

Both lenses are in great USED condition with slight cosmetic wear that does not affect lens function or images.

School 2012…

We survived a HOT, HOT summer only to go to the first day of school with the temps topping 115!! It’s INSANE they have schools starting at the beginning of August when summer is still fierce…

These guys were AWESOME for their 1st day. Everyone was happy and ready and excited. We had a yummy pancake & OJ breakfast and headed out ON TIME! Brennan has been DYING to wear this ASU stuff, once I heard his teacher was an ASU fan I figured it couldn’t hurt for him to make a good first day impression on her…although I would have chosen a different outfit for the standard 1st day photo! =) Do you see his “fork” signs?? Oh and take note of the shoes…the ONLY reason I don’t let my kids wear their school shoes until school is so they have SOMETHING to be REALLY excited about on the 1st day…and these boys are ALL ABOUT THE SHOES!!

This lil’ guy was already wanting his morning nap by 8am…it was an early morning for him.

He is sure going to miss his older brothers…I am going to LOVE watching them all get excited to greet each other at the end of each day.

And miss sassy pants has a couple more days til her school starts.  I’m enjoying her as my sidekick once again.

And I’m already dreading sending her to kindergarten jail in a year…please someone help me, I don’t want to take her.  Don’t be alarmed…it really is a FUN jail, and I KNOW she’ll LOVE it…there are toys everywhere and it’s own playground attached…this is just the front gate looking into part of their play area.

I’m pretty proud of this boy…after YEARS of adjusting with his separation anxiety always high (here’s last years experience)…he walked in today and didn’t look back…

That doesn’t mean he won’t have a bad day tomorrow…but I’m so grateful TODAY was a good start…

Yay for a GREAT day!! They all looked darling…..I love that your boys are all about the shoes too! I think my boys new shoes are the most exciting part of the first day for them! Can’t believe it’s that time again!

Sweet Sara

I’m gonna watch this sweet girl grow over the next year as part of our Belly to Birthday Package.  She’s the first girl after two brothers…speaking from experience I know she’ll be extra loved and adored by those boys and her parents…and I’m anxious to capture her throughout this year.

Thanks Amanda and Jeff for trusting me to capture your sweet baby’s 1st year!
